GET YOUR GROOVE ON
Oh mine! it was a major mayhem at the Access Bank end of year party which lasted from 8pm last night till dawn this morning at British Int'l school premises, VI. After all the formalities and handling over by Aig Imokuede to the new managing Director Mr Herbert Wigwe, the floor was officially opened to let loose by the likes of Timaya, MI, Ice prince, Shan Tizzle, Solid Star, Kcee, Wizzy and of course DjExclusive... Then you'll realize that the bankers can also groove and according to Basket mouth the MC, this is where they let loose the pressure of target..lol
Now here is the gist as the sons and daughters of men got wild, danced and moved to the rythm, not caring about how they moved as long as they got their groove on, I couldn't help but notice this boring young couples behind me...or should I say this bored wife who turned her husband into a pillow throughout the whole groove.
From the way the guy fixed his gaze on the chics dancing infront of him, while his wifed snorred on his shoulder and how his friends came to pally him with their babes and they rocked to the music, I could tell that this guy used to be a night crawler and may likely not bring madam again to such event....he frawned all through....hehehehe.
Lesson: ladies you knew the kind of man you married, you met him in a club and now you want him to act as a pope? Are u trying to change him? If you succeed, good for you but if you don't hmmmmm, he may have to go with some lady who will get his groove on at the next party.
Guys: Now you chose her amongst the pretty faces in your sphere of contacts and over those chics that you danced with in the various night clubs. If you really must dance, take her by the hand, shake her and tell her "baby it always feels good when I dance with you" and you then make her get her groove on. Life is very simple instead of the pity party and great expectations, just fix the present situation and move on.

WALKING IN MUMMY'S SHOES: A TRIBUTE TO MY MUM
Am sure almost every lady or woman today, did same thing the lil girl in the picture above is doing; fitting and walking in mummy's shoes. For those of you who have kids am sure you couldn't help but laugh when you saw ur lil girl walking in your shoes, and you were like "awwwwww those good old days". This takes me back to primary school days, when I contested for my School's African Beauty Queen Pageant, I did not only take my mum's shoes but I also had with me her buba and wrapper and some cultural beads too....lol. At the end of the competition I was the 2nd runner up, but the funny thing was the comment everyone made when they came in contact with the picture, "oh mine that's your mum's shoes.. "giggling".
This act is a circle of life that must continue, lil girls will always walk in mummy's shoes, seat before her dressing mirror, try on her powder and makeup and will go for the mummy role in their drama during play time. This tells me one thing, lil girls look up to their mums, tries to be like them and sometimes, eventually becomes like them. A good mum in most cases will raise good children and in the same vein a bad mum will raise bad children in some cases too...an apple does not fall far from its tree.
Since you've always wanted to be like mummy when you were younger, now that you are much older, why not stick to those good behaviours of mummy and all she thought you as a little girl. Like do not climb tress, Don't let a boy touch you, Sit with your legs closed, Take your bath before going to bed, Say your prayers, Greet your elders, Close your eyes at nude pictures on Tv, Dress modest and smart, Read your books, Make your bed before and after lying on it etc. They are called virtues, some funny though but truly these are what will form you into that radiant bride on your wedding day, that everyone will keep speaking of how sweet and mannered you are. Walking in Mummy's shoe is simply being like mama. Take all of these virtues from her, even how she served and loved daddy honourably.
Dedicated to my sweet and loving mum in whom I got all my virtues and beauty, I love you always - Queen David Gagiyovwe.

PHOTO: PJ AND SUNNY SAYS I DO
Finally the grand finale of the Royal Christmas wedding between Pastor Josphine Enemor and Sunny Ihesiaba. Few days ago I shared photos of the traditional marriage (HERE) but on Saturday the 14th Dec 2013, Royalty's couples Pj and Sunny tied the knots at Christ Embassy Kudirat Abiola way Oregun, Just like I told you it was a beautiful, classy, and fun filled event. Both the couples and their guest had an amazing time. The bride was looking all bridal and indubitably beautiful in her flawless wedding dress coated with crystals and a dramatic furry base. The groom and his groom's men were on point in their black suit and red accessories, and just like the wedding theme, it was a royal wedding. The very lovely reception decoration was pure white, and a touch of red and gold. Everyone was dress in gold, red and white, whether Ankara, Velvet, Lace, or George material, the various colours were well represented. Oh yes I remember the red carpet just at the reception entrance was also very gorgeous, the backdrop banner was wow and guest couldn't help but take classy photo shots there, even after the wedding.. More photos after the cut.....
