HURRAY IT'S FEBRUARY 2014

I particularly like the month of February,  not just because it carries the valentine day and all the activities involved, but because it is also my birth month. Call it whatever, I sure do love february...lol So welcome to February 2014, it's fresh and brand new, you have never seen this February before.

 Februarys are usually associated with love all around the world, so show some kindness and love to not just your relatives or acquintances but even to someone you do not know. A kind gesture could just be all you need to make someone feel loved this season. Its goes beyond the exchange of gifts, though its needful. No long sermon though....we'll talk about Valentine when it arrives but for now Happy February.

A QUICK WAY A HUSBAND CAN KILL THE ROMANCE IN A YOUNG MARRIAGE 2

Are you just realizing that Cinderella has been in fantasy land? The same land you helped her built while you were courting? Now let me jog your brain a little so you can understand how your negligence in these things can kill the romance in your happy married life.

Now when was the last time you swept her off her feet? I mean literally carried her and spinned her around until you both fell on the floor and laughed like little children. When was the last time you had your usual sunday outing? What was the last gift you gave her and when, on her birthday? But you used to do these things and more in the first few months of your marriage,  now you want her to wake up from what was suppose to be her happily ever after? You might ask "if I don't do those things why can't she?" Like I explained before in part1, some things are meant for ladies and some for men. You don't expect her to carry you and spin you around,  do you? I don't think so, its a bit awkward. ...lol. Okay, you might also say but then I wasn't as busy as I am now or I buy her gifts,  expensive gifts. True! ladies like gifts but most times they are not really moved by the size or cost of the gift but by the genuineness of the heart that offers them. 

You see, all she really needs is you, show sincere concern and cut out the busy attitude when it comes to your wife and home, it's a responsibility you vow to keep.  Listen to her and give a few comments when she is speaking, stay and talk with her in the kitchen even if you are not assisting, give her those sincere complements and encourage her, hold her close to your chest like the first time you had the opportunity to do so. These things are not unrealistic or asking for too much,  you were doing them before and like I said ladies are dreamers but you too can keep at it because what you need is a beautiful home filled with love and excitement to return to after the days job.

Hmmmmmm I hope we have come to an understanding guys.  But if you have a contrasting opinion,  bring it on, after all learning is what we will always do as long as we breathe.

A QUICK WAY A HUSBAND CAN KILL THE ROMANCE IN A YOUNG MARRIAGE

As Cinderilla approached the alter, only one figure caught her attention, it was the glow of her Knight In Shining Armour. And as she walks toward him she remembered that blessed day they had first met; how he actually got a bruise on his elbow while trying to hold her back from tripping down the stairs as the heels of her shoe got hooked to something. On another occasion when she was very sick he had to take the week off from work just to be there for her. He prepared her dishes and took over all her house chores. She remembered every sweet moment right from their first meeting to the day he got on one knee at the restaurant with a beautiful ring asking her to marry him. He had indeed been the definition of Prince Charming. Tears of joy overwhelmed her as she walked up to him at the alter because she believed it will indeed be a life of bliss forever with him. Looking back on that graceful wedding day, it's hardly past a hundred days before this tears now rolling down her cheeks, her first tears of sorrow.

Today's post is another finding of my research on why the romance in a young marriage is short lived. I discovered that Prince Charming too quickly looses his charm -the very trick that swept Cinderilla off her feet. Women by nature are dreamers and they leave in an unrealistic world. When you were courting her you took a trip into her fantasy world. This explains why you picked up flowers for her when you visited her back then and she was excited to recieve them. But surely you would be dumb-founded if she had picked up flowers for you, because in your world, flowers dont make any sense. Do you remember all the 'stupid' things you did just to make her smile and laugh during   courtship? Those are the exact things she expects you to keep on doing; that's what she understood by 'marriage' when you asked her to marry you. When you had a date with her at that time, you would do everything possible to keep the date and even meet up on time; you would think of something to buy on your way to her house that will make her happy; you would open the door of the car and also pull the dinning chair for her. You would hold her hands when you walk on the streets and do all those crazy things then, but why do you have to stop after she moves in with you in marriage.

The maths is easy, if you won her on that account, then it is expected that you would have to keep her on that account. There is no need to ask her to wake up from her fantasy world because that's how she was designed by nature to behave. No matter how smart and intelligent a lady is, her brain stops functioning in the presence of her husband and you as the husband must realize this because your own happiness depends on this understanding. To prove this, you can reflect on how happy you were during courtship when you where doing all those 'senseless things'. Little wonder you too have lost the savour of marriage since you decided that she must wake up from her fantasy world.

MARRIAGE: A BLESSING

As the ministers prayed for the newly weds, some of the words the minister pronounced were left in my spirit weeks after the wedding.  He said "I pray for you that your marriage becomes a blessing to the body of Christ and to the entire congregation, that your marriage and home becomes an inspiration and admiration to many, a place of hope, and safety" and everyone chorused AMEN at the end of the prayers.

The prayers left me thinking and I decided to pen my thoughts to the benefit of everyone.
How does marriage become a blessing?

Your marriage can become a blessing to the body of Christ (the church) this is because according to the Holy book... it is expected that two will do more than one. It says one will chase a thousand and two will put ten thosand to flight. If as an individual you used to win 5 souls for Christ, now that you are married the church expects that your combine efforts should  produce 15 souls for the Lord. If you prayed for months to get something done, now with the prayer of agreement with your spouse, you should get your answers promptly.

Your marriage a place of Hope:

People should look at your marriage and have hope that true love is real. They should have hope that something as sweet and as beautiful as what you and your spouse share can happen to them. In other words your home becomes a place of consolation and hope to others.

Your marriage an Inspiration and Admiration:

Your marriage should be able to inspire other homes, other relationship, and even broken homes. People should find your home worthy enough to settle their dispute, therby making your home a place of reconcillation. Single people should admire and aspire to be like you both.

Your  marriage a place if Safety:

This last point goes for both the couples themselves and for others. You should feel safe on your home. The presence of your spouse shouldn't create fear as the presence of a lion. Love is what makes a house a home. People should not get scared to visit your home, they should feel safe in your house and lobby to spend holiday in your house. They should be convince that in your home there is no room for fear, oppression, demonic attack 
 and maltreatment because they trust your level of faith in Christ Jesus and feel safe anytime anyday.

Your Marriage a blessing it's simply making your home an example.

Anyway Ziona Chana is said to have 94 children, 14-daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren. They live in a 100-room, four storey house set amidst the hills of Baktwang village in the Indian state of Mizoram, where the wives sleep in giant communal dormitories. Here is what he told the Sun:
 'Today I feel like God's special child. He's given me so many people to look after. A bride-to be had an unexpected surprise at her engagement party when she opened up her cake to find she had been sent a dessert in the shape of faeces. MOTHER WELCOMES SET OF TWINS IN DIFFERENT YEARS; 2013 AND 2014

How remarkable, isn't God great, set of twin arrived at seperate time, day and year... so they won't share a birthday...lol. Yaleni Tohalino gave birth to a twin girl and boy minutes apart as the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve. That gave siblings Lorraine and Brandon two different birth years.Both newborns are happy, healthy and doing great, the hospital said. Dad Warren Begazo told doctors the family would celebrate both birthdays on New Year's Day, but promised each child will have their own cake.He already sees a difference in the twins: his daughter is more active and cries a lot, while his son is always sleeping."They're beautiful, full developed, active and amazing human beings."The babies, who were conceived with the help of in vitro fertilization, were due in three weeks, but doctors became worried about the boy's heart rate and decided to deliver them early, Begazo told NBC.See more photos after the cut.
